Financial Center First Credit Union launched its new online banking platform and mobile banking app. The new banking platforms include enhanced security and a cohesive design that allows a streamlined view of finances from any device.
The new versions of the mobile app and online platform were a result of a three-year eService improvement initiative to develop electronic services in-house, which began with the credit union’s new website launch in July of 2018.
New features include:
- 360 degree view of member accounts including third party investment data
- True balance feature that operates like an electronic check register to reflect outstanding checks
or known expenses that have not posted - Security alerts for new device logins
- Biometric security features available on mobile devices including Touch ID and facial recognition
- Improved financial literacy and marketing messaging within the online banking platform
“The virtual branch has become the place where members prefer to transact their daily banking business,” said Edward Valasek, Financial Center’s Vice President of Information Technology. “Building our own online and mobile platforms has allowed us to provide our members the best possible money management solutions while also giving them a voice to help us decide what to provide through the online channel moving forward.”
