The $2.9 billion Apple Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce the selection of Sharon Camper as the credit union’s new Chief People Officer.
“Sharon’s experience and leadership skills make her an ideal fit for the Chief People Officer position at Apple Federal Credit Union. We are very pleased to welcome her onboard and excited to see how the function will develop under her guidance,” said President and CEO, Andrew Grimm.
Camper has a diverse Human Resources career spanning more than twenty years. She began working within the credit union industry in 2005 when she joined State Department Federal Credit Union in Alexandria, Virginia, in the role of Managing Director of Human Resources and Administration, a role which she has held for the past 14 years. Prior to her time with State Department Federal Credit Union, Camper worked for Discovery Communications and Hecht’s Company. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Potomac College, in Washington, D.C., and a Master of Science in Organizational Development and Strategic Human Resources from John Hopkins University, in Baltimore, Maryland.
