Young professionals have the opportunity to apply for a Credit Union Development Education (DE) program scholarship. This special, one-time scholarship is part of a DE project for Meghan Jamison, member solutions assistant with Tarrant County’s Credit Union.
Jamison, an active participant in Cornerstone’s CU Young Professionals, wanted to give a YP the chance to excel and advance in the credit union industry. “The YPs in Cornerstone are some of the greatest people I’ll ever meet. If they can continue forward in their careers with the knowledge, compassion, and skills that DE provides, the impact will be limitless.”
To fund the scholarship, Jamison created and sold approximately 300 T-shirts.
The deadline to apply for the scholarship is Sept. 20. Complete the application form, along with one professional letter of recommendation from someone affiliated with credit unions and return it to Emily Moreno at emoreno@cscul.coop, or fax it to 469-385-6483.
The Cornerstone Credit Union Foundation will be presenting the award and will notify the scholarship recipient in writing. For more information, contact Emily Moreno at 469-385-6483 or emoreno@cscuf.coop.
