More than 1,600 family members attend annual Kids’ Day in East Lansing

MSUFCU hosts event for a record-breaking crowd

On a beautiful, sunny day, MSU Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU) hosted its annual Kids’ Day, welcoming 1,641 community members, almost double the number of attendees in 2018. This event featured inflatables, a magician, balloon animals, face painting, food, and more fun for children and their families on July 27, 2019.

“We had a record number of families attend this year’s event and it was great to offer a day of fun in our community,” said Deidre Davis, MSUFCU’s Chief Marketing Officer. “Kids’ Day is an opportunity for families to spend time together, play games, stop by the photo booth, have balloon animals made, and enjoy lunch and other treats. This annual event also gives MSUFCU employees opportunities to build stronger relationships with our current and future members — especially our youth members — by interacting with them in a casual and relaxed atmosphere.”

MSUFCU also hosted Kids’ Day in Oakland County on August 17, and welcomed area families to enjoy an afternoon of fun mixed with financial education. As part of both Kids’ Days, games focusing on science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) subjects were available for children to play as well as information about youth accounts and financial education. Through this annual event, MSUFCU promotes responsible money management for children and their families.
