NewGround celebrates Monica Duffy

Construction Administrator wins National Association of Women in Construction award

NewGround, a St. Louis-based innovative architecture, design, and project management firm, recently celebrated Monica Duffy, Construction Administrator, and her award-winning nomination from the National Association of Women in Construction.

As the first-ever merit scholarship recipient in Missouri, Monica was selected by the Association based on her impressive experience in construction administration, overall grade point average, and merit.

“I am humbled to be the first woman selected in the state of Missouri to receive this award,” said Monica Duffy, Construction Administrator at NewGround. “It is an honor to represent hard-working women in the construction field.”

With over 20 years of experience in construction project management and consulting, Monica’s current education track for a degree in construction management gave her the competitive edge to win this coveted award.

“We are proud to have Monica on our Project Management Team, and we are grateful to have such an accomplished employee help bring NewGround to the next level of success,” said Kevin Blair, President and CEO at NewGround.

Monica holds a degree in integrated project management from Harvard University, and is currently working toward a degree in construction management. Monica began working for NewGround in September 2017.
