Credit unions gear up for Titletown Showdown to raise money for Special Olympics Wisconsin

Corporate Central and Special Olympics Wisconsin are working together for the third year in a row to bring credit unions together at Titletown Showdown. This flag football extravaganza challenges credit unions to form flag football teams and compete against one another to raise money for Special Olympics Wisconsin. The event will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at City Stadium in Green Bay, WI. Registration ends Tuesday, October 1, 2019.

“This is truly a fantastic event,” said Chris Felton, President/CEO of Corporate Central. “We are excited to share this opportunity with credit union employees, friends and families, and Special Olympics Wisconsin staff and athletes. Please consider joining us as a player or as a volunteer and help support a great cause.”

Teams may consist of 6 to 15 players including credit union staff, credit union members, friends, or family members, but each player must be at least 18 years of age. Several volunteer opportunities are also available for those who may prefer not to play.

Prizes will be given to teams that win different categories like best dressed or best sportsmanship and incentives will be offered for fundraising efforts. All proceeds collected by teams and proceeds collected during the event will benefit Special Olympics Wisconsin athletes.

Join in the fun, network with your credit union peers, and support a great cause. Teams must register online prior to the event.

The credit union flag football tournament will take place at City Stadium in Green Bay, WI on Saturday, October 19.
