Affinity debit card program wins national public relations award

For Addition Financial members, showing school pride and giving back to local school districts has never been easier than with the credit union’s Affinity High School Spirit Cards. Now, thanks to this affinity debit card program, the School District of Osceola County has won a Golden Achievement Award from the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA). This award was one of 11 national communication awards that the School District has received from NSPRA in 2019.

Founded by educators in Central Florida, Addition Financial proudly partners with the School District of Osceola by offering specialized products and services, sponsoring events like the annual State of Education, and providing financial education for local students. Through the School Spirit Card Program, Addition Financial offers debit cards cobranded for each public high school in Osceola, Orange and Seminole counties. Every time the card is swiped, Addition Financial donates $0.03 back to the respective school district.

In 2019, Addition Financial donated $18,871.35 to the School District of Osceola County through the affinity debit card program.
