Northwest Federal Credit Union Foundation presents $10,000 in grants for at-promise youth

The NWFCU Foundation recently donated $5,000 each to two organizations that fund after school programs for local at-promise children. The Herndon Neighborhood Resource Center (HNRC) and the INMED Opportunity Center in Sterling both received donations from the Foundation that will support their students’ language skills and education.

“The HNRC and INMED staff care deeply about the education of the children in their care,” said Executive Director of the NWFCU Foundation, Kaycee Childress. “We are proud to support both programs in their mission to open up opportunities for their students and help them succeed.”

The NWFCU Foundation is involved year-round with the HNRC in addition to supporting students through their mentoring program.
