Redwood Credit Union names Andy Ramos senior vice president of member engagement

Andy Ramos leads RCU’s member service experience

Redwood Credit Union (RCU) welcomes back Andy Ramos as senior vice president of member engagement. In his new role, Ramos will help ensure that RCU maintains its long-standing reputation for personalized service, partnership, and passion for helping members succeed.

Ramos formerly worked for RCU for many years, serving as regional branch manager, assistant vice president of sales and service, and senior vice president of member experience. He left the position to work for Key Point Credit Union as its executive vice president and chief retail officer.

Having returned as senior vice president of member engagement, Ramos oversees the overall service experience for RCU members, ensuring exceptional and positive interactions. He leads the team in forming partnerships as branches are opened in new communities and also serves as ambassador to RCU’s Latino membership.

“Our members are the owners of our credit union, and our mission is to serve their best interests,” said Cynthia Negri, chief operating officer. “Andy has put members first at every stage of his 15-plus years with RCU. We are thrilled to have him take the helm of member engagement.”

The Santa Rosa resident holds a master’s degree in business and organizational leadership from Chapman University, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from California State University, Monterey Bay. Ramos is a 2012 Leadership Santa Rosa graduate and has received numerous leadership recognitions, including a 2017 Credit Union National Association “Rock Star” Award and a 2007 Spirit of Sonoma County Award.
