NewGround, a St. Louis-based innovative architecture, design, and project management firm, celebrated the ribbon cutting ceremony for Community Resource Credit Union’s (CRCU) new main office in Baytown, Texas on Thursday, October 17.
Derived from the exterior aesthetics of their new prototype branches, the new 35,700 square foot main office features a call center with a terrace “stadium-style” cubicle layout and leverages natural daylight throughout the entire interior, with private offices located in the inner core to allow for open office spaces along the perimeter.
The facility also includes an employee lounge that staff can utilize throughout the day, equipped with ample space for all staff meetings. In addition, a large covered patio is located outside the breakroom for extra space to host company events.
Oriented for prime visibility on Rollingbrook Road, the new main office building is positioned for the front-facing property to preserve land for future expansion and development.
Services provided by NewGround included architecture, engineering, interior design, furniture, artwork, construction management, and an environmental package inclusive of graphics and digital displays. “We were honored to work with CRCU to design their new main office, which will bring unity and success to their organization for the years ahead,” said Kevin Blair, President and CEO at NewGround.
