In its annual ranking of the 100 largest global financial technology providers, IDC Financial Insights named Computer Services, Inc. (CSI) (OTCQX:CSVI), a provider of end-to-end financial technology solutions, to its 2019 IDC FinTech Rankings for the eighth consecutive year.
The industry ranking evaluates the top global providers of fintech based on calendar year revenues earned from financial institutions for hardware, software or services. These providers supply the technological backbone of the financial services industry—one in which IDC Financial Insights forecasts worldwide IT spending will exceed $540 billion (USD) by 2022.
Rising four spots in this year’s rankings, CSI appears 58th on the list of financial technology companies that were evaluated based on their global revenues, demonstrating the company’s role as a leading technology provider for U.S. financial institutions. During its past fiscal year, CSI focused on providing financial institutions and their customers an enhanced, seamless experience through its suite of core bank processing, digital banking, payment services, managed services and CRM offerings.
“Being recognized as a top technology provider further demonstrates our dedication to delivering high-quality, competitive offerings to our customers,” said Steve Powless, chairman and CEO for CSI. “Our status as one of the top 100 companies on the IDC FinTech Rankings for the eighth consecutive year speaks to CSI’s commitment to offering world-class technology that creates a seamless experience for banking customers.”
The company’s annual presence on IDC Financial Insights’ IDC FinTech Rankings, which have become a significant measure of the health and direction of technology in the industry, also proves CSI’s dedication to the financial services sector. The rankings serve as a critical tool for financial institutions to use during strategic planning and when considering new investments in third-party solutions.
“Being named in the IDC FinTech Rankings is a significant accomplishment, demonstrating a provider’s commitment to the success of its financial institution clients,” states Marc DeCastro, research director at IDC Financial Insights. “The IDC Fintech Rankings, now in its 16th year, is the global standard list of fintech providers to the industry, and we congratulate the 2019 winners.”
