Floridacentral Credit Union is pleased to announce the appointment of Yvette Cintron as Chief Information Officer (CIO), bringing more than 30 years of information technology leadership experience within the financial services industry.
As CIO, Cintron will lead the credit union’s technology strategy in support of long-term growth and digital transformation. She will oversee cybersecurity, infrastructure, core systems, and enterprise technology functions that enable the credit union to meet evolving member needs.
Over the past three years, Floridacentral Credit Union has made significant investments in its technology infrastructure, including the successful migration to a highly customizable core processing system designed to support long-term growth and adaptability. Cintron’s extensive experience aligns with Floridacentral Credit Union’s current technology initiatives to enhance digital services, strengthen operational capabilities, and improve convenience and service for members across all channels.

Throughout her career, Cintron has made improving the member experience through technology a core focus. She has led efforts to strengthen core system environments, implement a robust failover site, and enhance continuity capabilities to ensure continuous member access during future events. Cintron is also an advocate for team culture and fosters collaboration across departments to support compliance, improve decision-making, and ensure employees have the tools needed to serve members effectively.
Prior to joining Floridacentral Credit Union, Cintron served as Assistant Vice President of Information Technology at McCoyFederal Credit Union, where she oversaw IT operations supporting 15 branch locations. During her tenure, she led strategic initiatives focused on scalability, service enhancements, infrastructure reliability, and business continuity planning. She holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering, a Graduate Certificate in Project Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Central Florida.
