Tremont Credit Union, a Massachusetts-based credit union, recently selected COCC as its long-term technology partner. Located in Milton, Mass., Tremont has served the Boston area since 1952. The credit union chose COCC for its integration and efficiencies as well as to provide its members with a faster, easier and more convenient experience.
Today, Tremont holds more than $230 million in assets with four branch locations in the Greater Boston area. Having begun as the Boston Teachers Federal Credit Union, Tremont has now grown to serve membership groups such the Boston Public Schools, Boston Children’s Hospital, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Blue Cross Blue Shield and MassBio®.
“It is always exciting to partner with a company whose member-focused mission aligns so closely with our own core values,” stated Richard A. Leone, COCC’s Chief Executive Officer. “Partnering with clients who share the same values and helping them serve their members is always rewarding for us at COCC.”
Member service is paramount for Tremont, according to George Hardiman, President and CEO of Tremont Credit Union. “These enhancements will allow us to offer new services and should also provide our management team with improved data which will allow us to more easily evaluate and improve our services going forward,” he noted. “New technology also illustrates that our credit union is always looking to make things easier and more convenient for its members.”
