Member Driven Technologies (MDT), a CUSO that provides a private cloud alternative for core processing and IT needs, has been named a 2020 Cool Place to Work in Michigan by Crain’s Detroit Business for the fourth consecutive year. MDT ranked no.16 among medium-sized companies on this year’s list.
The rankings were determined based on the results of a confidential employee survey inquiring about companies’ work environment, leadership, benefits and perks. MDT’s employees cited the company’s positive, collaborative work environment, strong leadership across all departments, dedication to work-life balance and competitive benefits and pay as the main reasons they enjoy working for MDT.
This year, MDT went above and beyond to help its organization adapt to the Covid-19 environment. Employees noted that since the pandemic’s onset, MDT has been extremely flexible about remote working conditions and schedules, allowing employees to prioritize taking care of their families and loved ones. Employees were immediately provided with the resources necessary to work effectively from home, a stipend for internet and phone expenses and the option to roll over more PTO into 2021. The company has also hosted frequent virtual check-ins to ensure everything is running smoothly and employees still feel connected to their co-workers and the company.
