Public Service Credit Union once again will award 10 deserving individuals $1,000 each for their 2020 Scholarship program. Recipients were chosen from existing members who show academic promise, community involvement and the PSCU mantra of “people helping people”.
In lieu of a ceremony, this year the winners will be honored on the Public Service Credit Union website, www.PSCUnow.com/scholarships. Each recipient will also have a dedicated day of social media posts on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. These posts will include a picture and brief description of their achievements and aspirations.This year’s recipients are: Briana Jackson from Redford, MI, is preparing to attend Wayne State University majoring in Nursing; Charles Plough from Woodhaven, MI, will be attending Michigan State University majoring in Actuarial Science; Elizabeth Wadsworth from Romulus, MI, will continue her journey as a student of Washtenaw Community College majoring in history; Felicia Messengale from Oak Park, MI, will continue to further her education at Walden University to earn her Masters in Nursing Education; Marissa Luzac from Riverview, MI, will attend Alma College majoring in Secondary Education; May Gulley from Trenton, MI, will be attending Bowling Green Universityaspiring to receive a degree in Human Services; Nikolas Moody from Trenton, MI, will continue his education at Eastern Michigan University while majoring in General Business; Reva Borden from Flat Rock, MI, will be attending Eastern Michigan University majoring in Nursing; Shane Tinsley from Romulus, MI, will attend Wayne State University majoring in Honors Philosophy; and Tyra Treadway from Detroit, MI, will be attending Michigan State University majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
