Greta Messarra Woodward, CRPC ® was recently hired by Aggieland Credit Union as a Financial Consultant with Aggieland Financial Solutions, on August 31, 2020.
Greta is a proud Bryan native who graduated from Bryan High and Texas A&M University. Daughter of Abe and Pat Messarra, she grew up in her family’s office supply business where she learned the values of honesty, hard work, saving money and helping others. She has served in the financial industry since 2000 and maintains several licenses including insurance and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor. Greta’s considerable experience working with a variety of retirement plans at universities, school districts and employers, as well as partnering with CPAs and attorneys has developed her extensive foundation of industry and community resources.
The credit union launched Aggieland Financial Solutions in June 2020 creating a new relationship with LPL Financial as the broker/dealer, replacing SWBC Investment Services. This new endeavor offers a comprehensive array of services to assist members with their financial needs and goals. The move to LPL Financial has brought members enhanced state-of-the-art technology, objective investment research, and a more robust retirement and investment advisory platform which all support our enhanced client service model.
About joining the Aggieland Credit Union Financial Solutions team, Greta shared “Being a financial advisor allows me to guide people of all ages, at all stages of life on their financial journey. I use an established process and apply proven principles to help businesses, individuals and families make well informed financial decisions and fit the pieces of their “puzzle” together to help reach their goals.“ She says the most important part of being a financial advisor is the freedom to put her clients first and to always do what is right, backed by the commitment to provide quality investments and excellent service. Greta is excited about getting back to her roots of serving the Texas A&M campus since Aggieland Credit Union is the official financial institution of Texas A&M University.
