Financial Center celebrates National Hispanic Heritage with various activities

Financial Center First Credit Union is honoring National Hispanic Heritage Month with various activities, financial education offered in Spanish and the launch of a formal partnership with Inclusiv’s Juntos Avanzamos (Together We Move Forward) - a nationwide program dedicated to helping low-income individuals and communities achieve financial independence through education and low-cost financial services.

Additionally, Financial Center is launching a new podcast titled “Hablando de Finanzas” (Talking about Finances)in partnership with the Mexican Consulate in Indianapolis and the All Indiana Podcast Network. Every month, join hosts Marco Dominguez and Fernando Ceja as they discuss important financial topics to the Hispanic community such as credit building, avoiding financial scams, and how to navigate the U.S. banking system.

Lastly, Financial Center joins the Indy Eleven - sponsoring Hispanic Heritage Night on September 23rd- a night dedicated to supporting local leaders and organizations who support the Hispanic community.

During Hispanic Heritage Month, a number of financial education videos in Spanish will also be posted on the Credit Union’s website.
