DuPage Credit Union recently gave away a total of $850 in gift cards to three DuPage County educators during its Back to School Safely Giveaway. Information regarding the giveaway was distributed during school institutes in August, along with safety packs that included masks, thermometers, a healthy snack and a heartfelt thank you from the credit union team to local educators for their continued dedication to their students during the 2020 school year.
“Our team wanted to extend our sincere thanks to educators for pivoting on a moment’s notice to provide creative, engaging and unique learning opportunities for local students during the pandemic,” said Amy Brandt, Vice President of Business Solutions.
Teachers were encouraged to complete online actions to learn more about the credit union; with each action entered into the giveaway. Winners were randomly drawn through an online contest forum.
Winners were:
$500 Visa® Gift Card – Melissa Uhlir, Maercker Elementary School, Westmont
$250 Visa Gift Card – Rebecca Calderone, Hadley Junior High School, Elmhurst
$100 Visa Gift Card – Ashley Young, Hawthorne Elementary School, Wheaton
