ServU Credit Union promotes four staff members to leadership positions

ServU Credit Union in Painted Post, New York announced the promotion of four current staff members to leadership positions. These appointments include new roles in the organization in the Information Technology, Digital Channels, Accounting and Marketing departments.

Walter Konopski has been appointed as the Vice President of Information Technology. In the new role, he will oversee technology initiatives, cybersecurity and building security. Konopski started his career at ServU in 2005 as an IT Specialist and has held several roles in the Information Technology department since then. He was even a recipient of a ServU Credit Union scholarship as a high school senior in 2001.

Bethany Larrabee has been appointed as the Vice President of Digital Channels. Larabee will lead the credit union’s Card Services, Online Banking and Electronic Services departments as they provide credit union members with high-quality digital experiences and easy to use Visa Cards. Larrabee started her career with ServU in 2012 when she was hired as an Electronic Services/Accounting Specialist. She has held several roles in the credit union in the Electronic Services, Online Banking and Card Services Department.

Christa Nellis has been appointed as the Vice President of Accounting. In this new position, she will
oversee the accounting department, credit union financials and investments, payroll budget and will Chair the Asset Liability Management Committee. Nellis started her career with ServU in June of 1997 as anAccounting Clerk. She has previously held roles in the Visa, Student Loans, Collections and Electronic Services Departments.

Carrie Foley has been appointed the Assistant Vice President of Marketing. In this role, she will oversee the credit union’s marketing initiatives, website, social media accounts, member communication and community involvement. Foley started her career at ServU in 2008 as a Business Development Specialist. You may have seen her teaching financial literacy classes in local  school districts or in the community representing ServU at various community events.
