Noah Gray speaks with LCU employees about teamwork and resiliency

Noah Gray, Tight End for the Kansas City Chiefs spoke to all Leominster Credit Union (LCU) employees via a recent virtual meeting. Noah Gray shared his journey and the process he went through mentally and physically to reach the NFL. He spoke about resilience, demanding work, pushing forward, positivity and how he worked with the resources around him to help him improve. His presentation made an impact on the LCU employees with some important lessons that can be incorporated into any work environment.

“We were thrilled to have Noah join us and share his insights, with our entire team, on his road to success.  His humble, sincere, and encouraging words were certainly an inspiration, in motivating all of us to continue to pursue our goals and build on further developing the value we provide to our members,” said Barbara Mahoney, President and CEO, Leominster Credit Union

LCU wanted to donate to an organization on behalf of Gray to thank him for his time and presentation. Gray chose the Leominster High School (LHS) Best Buddies Program as he participated as a mentor when he attended LHS. Best Buddies International, is a nonprofit organization that creates opportunities for friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, and inclusive living for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

“Thank you, Leominster Credit Union, for the generous donation on my behalf for the Best Buddies Program at Leominster High School! It gives all the best buddies at the school more opportunities to participate in events and social gatherings throughout the year,” stated Noah Gray.

Leominster Credit Union presents a $2,500 check to the students and mentors involved in the Best Programs at Leominster High School.
