Eric Johnson has been hired as vice president of consumer lending for Redwood Credit Union.
Prior to joining RCU, Johnson worked for First Republic Bank as vice president of closing and funding operations, JP Morgan Chase as vice president lending manager, and Bank of America/Merrill Lynch as vice president retail sales manager/VP operations market manager.
“Eric brings skills in areas of great importance to the members of Redwood Credit Union,” says Michelle Anderson, chief lending officer. “Saving people money on their loans, whether it be through a new loan, refinance, or consolidation enables them to keep funds on hand for other necessities. That’s always been important but is especially so in this environment.”
Johnson has a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from the University of Maine. He’s a board member for the Coastal Youth Little League and currently resides in Gualala with his family.
