Patelco Credit Union, a Bay Area-based credit union dedicated to the financial wellness of its members and communities, recently took part in a build day with Habitat for Humanity East Bay/Silicon Valley on Friday, May 6. The build included 12 Patelco team members, who worked to help provide affordable housing in the Bay Area.
“There’s no better feeling than putting our collective hands to work to build homes for families in our community,” said Wendy Haller, Patelco’s vice president of member experience. “We are grateful to partner with Habitat for Humanity East Bay/Silicon Valley to build a better future for families in our community together.”
Patelco and Habitat for Humanity East Bay/Silicon Valley have a long history of collaborating to create affordable homes for families in the community. Since 2018, Patelco has been the presenting sponsor of the organization's Cycle of Hope bike ride that raises awareness and funds to help families achieve affordable homeownership. Patelco team members will take part in more Habitat for Humanity East Bay/Silicon Valley build days this summer and fall.
