United Federal Credit Union (United) has appointed Fares Farhan to the position of Branch Manager at its Toscana Park branch at 7514 Gumwood Rd. in Granger.
As Branch Manager, Farhan will be responsible for maintaining the performance of the branch, and providing leadership and supervision to staff.
Farhan brings more than eight years of financial and customer service experience to his new role. Prior to becoming branch manager, he was an assistant branch manager with Teachers Credit Union and was a property manager for a leasing company. Farhan speaks Arabic and is looking forward to helping Members in the Granger area.
He has a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University South Bend. Farhan lives the credit union philosophy of ‘people helping people’ not only through member service, but also community involvement. He is active in the Granger community and was named to the “100 Black Men of Greater South Bend” list in 2018.
