During the month of June, First Capital Federal Credit Union collected school supplies in partnership with the York Suburban Education Foundation. The York Suburban Education Foundation is an independent, nonprofit organization providing funding for innovative programs that enhance the educational experience and foster continued academic excellence for district students.
“The backpacks filled with school supplies will be given to students in need in the York Suburban School District,” said Lisa Barshinger, Community & Business Development Manager. “We are always here to assist our members and our community any way we can.”
On August 11, 2022, employees from our various offices volunteered their time to help with supply distribution. First Capital is proud to support our local school districts, through events such as supply drives and financial education inside classrooms.
