On Monday, October 10, over 120 Zeal Credit Union employees showed up at Zeal’s Livonia HQ to build hundreds of care packages to help support Metro Detroit area charitable organizations.

In addition to preparing essential supplies and personal care items, Zeal’s team will bring their creativity to the forefront; crafting fleece blankets and handwriting personalized letters and cards to recipients filled with messages of hope and love. Charitable organizations receiving contributions include Hospitality House, Auntie Na’s Village, Forgotten Harvest, The Guidance Center, MCHS Family of Services, Michigan Humane Societyand the Michigan Veteran Homes of Chesterfield Township.

Representatives who spoke at the event include United Way, Hospitality House and Auntie Na’s Village.

“More than ever, our communities need our support. Here at Zeal, we want to do everything we can to make a positive impact,” said Zeal Credit Union President and CEO Julie Kreinbring. “There’s never been a better time to come together as one team and help those who are part of our Zeal family, even if we haven’t met just yet. This day is just one of many ways we can help make a difference, have fun together, and support our communities.”
