Advance Financial Federal Credit Union (AFFCU) has achieved a milestone that few organizations of any kind can claim…succeeding for 85 years. On October 27, 1937 the credit union was chartered by a small group of steel workers. Fast forward 85 years through several wars, a major pandemic and volitility in financial markets and Advance Financial continues to thrive and is one of only 16% of credit unions begun in 1937 that is still in operation! Having received consumer recognition as The Best Credit Union in the Region for the past three years, it’s obvious that Advance Financial is continuing to provide outstanding products and services to its members and the community.
