Lars Gilberts has been promoted to vice president of equity and community development for Numerica Credit Union. In this role, he will oversee member outreach and work to grow financial inclusion.
“Lars is passionate about advocating for underserved communities,” said Kim Pearman-Gillman, Numerica’s senior vice president of equity and community development. “He is strategic about finding ways to ensure Numerica’s systems are inclusive and effective. Lars is always striving to increase access for underserved populations.”
Gilberts previously served as Numerica’s assistant vice president of community development and impact. This past year, he helped launch Numerica’s diversity, equity and inclusion strategic plan to expand the credit union’s efforts and overall impact as well as increasing the intentionality and effectiveness of the credit union’s financial engagement programs.
