Y-12 Federal Credit Union cuts the ribbon to open Lenoir City, Tennessee branch

Y-12 Federal Credit Union, a $1.8 billion full-service financial institution with 16 branches covering eight East Tennessee counties, recently cut the ribbon at its newest location in Lenoir City, Tennessee, at 391 Highway 321. Before the branch’s opening, Loudon County was an area with more than 3,800 Y-12 FCU members. Lenoir City provides a new convenient location and opportunities to expand the member base with its more than 56,000 residents.

Activities like themed days, food trucks, special offers, and a getaway prize package helped the branch exceed grand opening expectations. In addition, the branch's success and momentum in the first week helped the location successfully achieve the branch's financial goals for the remainder of the year. According to Courtland Crouchet, the chief experience officer, banking with Y-12 FCU is “easy and convenient.” Members have access to drive-thru live Personal Teller service Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday service from 9:00 a.m. through 2:00 p.m. Y-12 FCU says it carefully considers the needs of all members by offering both traditional in-branch and digital banking experiences.

The digital services are backed by an award-winning mobile application with remote deposit features and card controls that allow members to completely control card features, including disabling a card if lost or stolen, through the app. In-branch accommodations focus on easy banking, WOW member experiences, and an in-branch video lending option. Members can also enjoy 24-hour ATM Plus expanded self-service account access. Y-12 FCU offers remote capabilities like personalized video banking that provides members with convenient account management tools and an open line of communication to Y-12 FCU from anywhere.

“The Lenoir City Branch grand opening was an extremely successful event. We were excited to have our credit union board, CEO, Mark Ziegler, and many Loudon County officials and local dignitaries join us in officially cutting the ribbon and cementing our commitment to this wonderful community,” said Vice President of Retail, Jon Holland.
