Dr. Michelle D. Nearon is the Senior Associate Dean for Graduate Student Development and Diversity at Yale University. Dr. Nearon is also the Dean of the African American Credit Union Coalition (AACUC) Diversity Equity Inclusion (DEI) Leadership Academy for Financial Professionals. She served on the Board of Directors for the Bethpage Federal Credit Union from 2006 - 2020. In 2017 she became the first female and first African American to serve as Chair.
