With over two decades of experience in policy development and governance, Stacy believes that credit unions are destined for world domination, and she intends to help them on their way.
Stacy has served as the chief lobbyist and general counsel to the Northwest Credit Union Association, where her diplomacy and strategy accomplished what is commonly acknowledged as the most progressive environment for state chartered credit unions in the United States.
Known for her ability to accomplish innovative and entrepreneurial solutions to issues facing credit unions and for her ability to lead strong, self-directed teams to achieve the seemingly impossible, Stacy’s skills in strategy development, governance, and her diplomacy allow her to successfully coach, inspire and work with credit unions to achieve their own definition of success. Today, through her role as President/CEO of CU Strategic Planning, she counts herself lucky to work with the best and brightest in U.S. and international credit union leadership.
Stacy has been honored with a number of awards over the years—for excellence in advocacy, communications, and professional leadership including CUNA’s Desjardins Award, the Association Executive of the Year Award, and several national American Society of Association Executive awards for excellence in communications and government relations. She brings the leadership recognized by these awards to grant writing and program implementation at CU Strategic Planning.
In addition to her real-life experience working with credit unions and credit union associations, Stacy received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Pacific Lutheran University and her Juris Doctor from the University of Notre Dame Law School.
