Government funding extension, Senate FSGG bill up this week

The House will consider a continuing resolution to fund the federal government past Sept. 30 this week, and will also consider several financial services-related bills under suspension of the rules.

The Senate Appropriations Committee and a subcommittee will also mark up a financial services and general government (FSGG) appropriations bill for fiscal year 2020.

Specifically, the Senate FSGG subcommittee will mark up the bill Tuesday, at 2:15 p.m. (ET), with the full Senate Appropriations Committee scheduled to begin its markup Thursday at 10:30 a.m. (ET).
