1st United Credit Union welcomes new Chief Financial Officer

PLEASANTON, CA (October 11, 2021)1st United Credit Union is thrilled to announce the addition of Ganga Radhakrishnan as their new chief financial officer.

Ms. Radhakrishnan brings over 30 years of experience and an MBA in Finance and Investments to the 89-year old Credit Union. She has worked in the high tech, insurance, and financial services industries, but considers credit unions her home. “I believe in the credit union philosophy of people over profits,” commented Ms. Radhakrishnan about her move to 1st United. “Protecting members’ financial interests is what drives my decisions.”

“We needed a CFO with extensive financial, ALM, and investment expertise, as well as a solid understanding of lending and collections,” commented Steve Stone, chief executive officer at 1st United Credit Union. “Ganga was the perfect fit. Plus, she brings extensive experience working with credit unions of varying sizes and business models. We are glad to have her on our team.”
