2013 CUES Golden Mirror Awards winners announced

MADISON, WI (August 19, 2013) — The Credit Union Executives Society is pleased to announce the winners of the 2013 Golden Mirror Awards competition.

This year, 426 entries were received; 152 earned awards for marketing excellence. Four entrants garnered top honors:

– GMA Pinnacle Award —Thomas Kane, CEO, Fort Campbell Federal Credit Union, Clarksville, Tenn.

– GMA Best Campaign—Roy MacKinnon, CCE, VP/marketing, First Entertainment Credit Union, Hollywood, Calif. 

– GMA Rookie of the Year—Christa Peck, field marketing operations coordinator, School Employees Credit Union of Washington, Seattle

– GMA Golden Shoestring—Anna Wohrman, marketing coordinator, Orion Federal Credit Union, Memphis, Tenn.

CUES GMA Pinnacle Award is selected from among first place winners of categories other than Coordinated Campaigns. CUES’ GMA Best Campaign is the top honor awarded to one of the first place winners from the three asset divisions in the Coordinated Campaigns category. CUES’ GMA Rookie of the Year is awarded to a marketer who has been employed by a credit union for two years or less; the winner is selected from among all winning GMA entries submitted by credit union rookies. CUES’ GMA Golden Shoestring is awarded to a highly successful marketing piece within the constraints of a shoestring budget.
