$25,000 in scholarships awarded to Abound Credit Union members

Abound Credit Union has awarded a total of $25,000 in college scholarships and recently congratulated its 2020 Roush Scholarship Winners virtually. Each of these 10 deserving winners received $2,500 for college: Addison Sutton, Ariana Silva, Claire Edelen, Faith Singletary, Hannah Turner, Kaitlyn Brandenburg, Katrina Brown, Lauren Witt, Nicholas Najar and Zachery Robinson. “We care about supporting education in our communities at all levels. This is why Abound increased the scholarship fund from $4k per year to $25k per year in 2020,” says Becky Ates, Executive Vice President of Abound Credit Union. “The Howard Roush Memorial Scholarship symbolizes our learning-driven culture and is tied to our goal of increasing financial education across Kentucky.”
