Addition Financial’s Senior Relationship Manager receives Joe Curley Rising Leader Award nomination
LAKE MARY, FL (June 13, 2022) — This summer, the Florida Public Relations Association’s (FPRA) Orlando Area Chapter recognized Valerie Moses, Senior Relationship Manager at Addition Financial, with the Joe Curley Rising Leader Award nomination. This award is intended to identify and honor up-and-coming individual FPRA members that demonstrate emerging leadership traits along with dedicated active involvement in FPRA chapter activities.
Since 2013, Valerie has served in the Community Engagement and Partnerships department at Addition Financial, managing the credit union’s public relations efforts and its relationship with the University of Central Florida. Valerie oversees a variety of corporate communication initiatives and represents her department on several enterprise-level projects.
Valerie first joined FPRA in 2017, becoming an active member of the Orlando Area Chapter in 2019. She currently serves as the chapter’s Vice President of Communications/Social Media, and was recently recognized as Member of the Year for the 2020-2021 term. Valerie is also a graduate of the LeadershipFPRA Class VI, a leadership development program facilitated by FPRA for public relations practitioners throughout the state of Florida.
Valerie received her Bachelor of Arts in Advertising and Public Relations in 2013 from UCF, followed by her Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2018. In addition to her FPRA involvement, she serves as Co-Chair of the Harbor House of Central Florida Young Professionals Board and volunteers as a mentor for Take Stock in Children.
