Advance Financial FCU raises funds for Riley Children’s Foundation

Conducts annual “Moe Monkey for Riley’s” program

EAST CHICAGO, IN (August 11, 2020) — Advance Financial Federal Credit Union (AFFCU) recently presented a check in the amount of $678 to the Riley Children’s Foundation. Sales of stuffed animals of the credit union’s mascot, Moe Monkey, as well as monetary donations were collected through April of this year. Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health is one of the premiere children’s hospitals in the country.

“There is no better way to demonstrate the credit union motto of “People Helping People” than to support the Riley Children’s Foundation with a fund raiser. Even during challenging times like those we face today, our members and our staff step up to help those in need,” stated Jerry Gomez, President/CEO of AFFCU. “Every dollar we raise for this program helps physician-scientists discover ways to treat cancer, diabetes and heart defects in children,” added Gomez.
