Advancial named one of the 2019 Best Places To Work For in Texas

Advancial Federal Credit Union was recently named as one of the 2019 Best Places to Work for in Texas. The awards program was created in 2006 and is a project of Texas Monthly, the Texas Association of Business (TAB), Texas SHRM and Best Companies Group.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to make the list again in 2019,” said Brent Sheffield, Advancial’s President and CEO. “I’m really glad to see that our efforts to make Advancial a great place to work are translating to this kind of positive feedback.” This marks the eighth year in a row for Advancial, which has received this recognition every year since 2011, coming in at 9^th in 2018.
Additionally, Advancial currently has a 94% recommendation rating, a 100% CEO approval and a 4.6 of 5 stars overall rating on Glassdoor.com, providing another indication that those efforts are making a real impact on Advancial’s workforce.
Companies from across the state entered the two-part survey process to determine the Best Companies to Work for in Texas. The first part, worth approximately 25% of the evaluation, consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, systems, philosophies, practices, and demographics. The remaining 75% of the evaluation consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final rankings.
Advancial’s final 2019 ranking will be announced at the Texas Association of Business (TAB) Best Companies to Work for in Texas Awards Dinner and Celebration on March 28 at the Hilton, Downtown Austin. The winners will also be profiled by Texas Monthly in a special publication that will be released in conjunction with the event.
