YUMA, AZ (March 17, 2022) — AEA Federal Credit Union announces the groundbreaking of a new full-service branch in San Luis, Arizona. The 3,995 square-foot facility, set to open in late 2022, is in the South Valley Center (1565 N Main Street) which includes the Walmart Supercenter and Denny’s.
The new branch is designed with an open, welcoming environment featuring a full-service teller line and drive up, individual offices and services spots, three ATMs, and a community room which will be available to local non-profits as a meeting space.
This Branch will be the Credit Union’s fourth retail location in Yuma County. Expanding into San Luis with a brick-and-mortar location has been on the Credit Union’s radar for years. “San Luis is a fast-growing community, over 5,000 of our current members live in this area. Having a physical presence allows us to offer convenient access to financial services for our members and the community,” stated AEA’s president/CEO Adele Sandberg.
AEA has partnered with Chandler-based design and build firm DBSI, who focus on financial services spaces. “We are delighted AEA chose us as their design-build partner to help them create a unique retail experience for the people of Yuma and San Luis,” said Joe Sump, Transformation Strategist at DBSI. “Getting to know and understand AEA, it’s clear how much they value their members. The best part of our role in this transformation journey is bringing their vision to life and seeing the reaction of their members to the new branch experience.”
