AFFCU holds Braun Pointe branch Grand Opening
SAN ANTONIO, TX (February 3, 2022) — Air Force Federal Credit Union (AFFCU) held a grand opening for the credit union’s new Braun Pointe Branch on Thursday, January 27, 2022. The branch, located at 9910 W Loop 1604 N, STE 129, San Antonio, Texas 78254, opened its doors with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony.
“We’re excited to expand our branch network to better serve San Antonio with new technology and personal service,” said Ryan Ross, AFFCU President and CEO. “This is only one of the many milestones we’ll be celebrating this year.”
In honor of the credit union’s commitment to the surrounding community, AFFCU presented The 100 Club of San Antonio and Northside Education Foundation with a generous donation to each. Other distinguished guests joined community members, AFFCU’s Board of Directors, and employees in attendance including: 151 Business Association Director, Gina Barbera; Northside Education Foundation Board Vice President, Larry Romo; and The 100 Club Executive Director, Richard Miller.
“It’s important to invest in the communities we serve. We want to build lasting relationships with the neighbors, organizations, and businesses around us,” said Ross.
The new 3,000 square feet, full-service branch is located on the northwest side of the city at Loop 1604 and Braun Rd. The location is equipped with Interactive Member Experience (IMX) offices and features three drive-thru lanes, and a 24/7 ATM. This branch is a continuation of the credit union’s commitment to expanding its footprint in and around the San Antonio area.
This year marks AFFCU’s 70th Anniversary.
