Affiliates Management Company announces hiring of VP, Marketing
DES MOINES, IA (March 26, 2015) — Affiliates Management Company (AMC), the holding company of the Iowa Credit Union League (ICUL), is pleased to announce that Jeanine Mixdorf joined the team as Vice President of Marketing.
In this position, Mixdorf will provide executive leadership in developing and shaping the image of AMC and its family of companies. In addition, she will provide executive marketing and communications strategies for the ICUL, PolicyWorks, Coopera and the Iowa Credit Union Foundation.
Prior to joining AMC, Mixdorf served as Communications/Marketing Manager at Principal Financial Group, where she worked for the past eight years. Prior to that, she was Marketing Director at Kojaian Marketing Company for eight years. Kojaian is a large, family-owned commercial real estate firm which owns multiple operating companies in the Detroit area. Mixdorf also has marketing agency and non-profit experience, working for both Trilix Marketing and Integer Group in Des Moines, and leading marketing/PR efforts at American Lung Association of Iowa, before moving with her family to Michigan.
Mixdorf is an Iowa native who graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a BA in marketing and communications, and has done graduate coursework at Michigan State. She has earned her Accredited Public Relations (APR) designation.
