Affinity Federal Credit Union Foundation Hosts Annual Golf Outing to Benefit NJ Charities

BASKING RIDGE, NJ (July 29, 2013) — The Affinity Federal Credit Union Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charity corporation, recently hosted its annual golf outing to benefit a variety of charities it supports.

“This annual event is a major fundraiser for our Foundation,” noted Dr. Lauretta A. Farrell, assistant vice president of external affairs and executive director, Affinity Federal Credit Union Foundation.  “We are always thankful for the support we receive from our sponsors and employees, who turn out year-after-year to enjoy a great day on the greens in support of our charitable efforts.”

The Affinity Federal Credit Union Foundation serves several local charities including: Matheny Medical and Educational Center; The Midland School; Hope for Veterans®; Somerset Home for Temporarily Displaced Children; Saint Clare’s Hospital, Saint Peter’s Healthcare System; Morris County Organization for Hispanic Affairs; Adult Day Center of Somerset County; and Raritan Valley Community College Foundation. Support from the outing also funds the Robert L. Birkhahn Community Spirit Scholarship and the Richard A. Romano Rutgers Scholarship.
