Affinity Federal Credit Union participates in fall festival

BASKING RIDGE and DENVILLE, NJ (October 21, 2013) — Affinity Federal Credit Union proudly participated in the St. Francis Fall Festival in Denville, NJ on Sunday, October 6.

This was the fourth annual St. Francis Fall Festival, a one-day charity event to benefit the St. Francis Residential Community.  St. Francis Residential Community is a ministry of the Sisters of the Sorrowful Mother that provides unique and affordable options for senior living in a dignified and beautiful setting.

“As part of its sponsorship of the event, Affinity Federal Credit Union hosted a booth where it raffled off gift baskets with items purchased from local stores in Denville, in order to support the area’s small businesses,” said Flutur Nitting, member experience fficer, Affinity. “The baskets featured items from Dash of Thyme, Sergio & Co., Write On Gifts, and Sweet Expressions.”

Business member Robert Nemerofsky and his family stopped by the Affinity booth to pay a visit. When asked why he uses Affinity for both his personal and business banking, he said, “In two words, ‘customer service.’ Affinity has made it very easy for me to change from Chase to Affinity. They have come to my home with lunch in hand and set me up with free automatic clearing house so I can perform my payroll. They are always willing to go out of their way to help their clients. As a result I have opened two personal accounts, a business account, and one Trust account. I couldn’t imagine banking anywhere else.”
