Akcelerant concludes annual audit, achieves at 101 compliance

Auditwerx report reveals Akcelerant’s operating policies continue to meet industry standards

MALVERN, PA (February 5, 2015) — Akcelerant, a provider of software and services to the financial industry, completed its annual AT 101 audit and successfully attained SOC 2 Type 2 status. Auditwerx, a licensed Certified Public Accounting Firm and one of the nation’s leading firms in audit exams for service organizations, reviewed Akcelerant’s operating policies from November 2013 through October 2014.

SOC-Service Org_B_Marks_2c_Web (2)In order to satisfy compliance requirements for SOC 2 Type 2, Akcelerant underwent testing to meet measurable criteria determined by the Trust Service Principles (TSP 100) established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. The SOC 2 audit performed by Auditwerx concentrated on the Trust Service Principles of Security and Availability to meet the TSP 100 requirements. The examination delved into Akcelerant’s progressive security standards, disaster management, support operations and ability to meet operating commitments. After examining controls related to Akcelerant’s internal policies and multiple products lines, Auditwerx found all items to be in compliance for operational effectiveness.
