Allegacy named a Best Place to Work

Allegacy Federal Credit Union, one of the largest credit unions in North Carolina, has been honored as one of the ‘Best Places to Work’ by the Triad Business Journal.

The Journal’s 12th ‘Best Places to Work’ program honored 25 Triad companies that scored highest among the employers that participated in Quantum Workplace’s annual employee engagement survey. The awards program was open to the thousands of employers across the 12-county Triad area that had at least 10 full-time employees in the market. Workers evaluated their employer on points designed to measure 10 key engagement categories focusing on items such as team effectiveness, trust in senior leaders, feeling valued, manager effectiveness, compensation and benefits.

Cumulative scores were used exclusively to determine the finalists and ultimately top performers by size category. Companies were divided based on the number of employees they have in the Triad region. Allegacy participated in the extra-large employer category and placed second.

“We are thrilled to be honored as one of the Triad’s Best Places to Work company,” said Cathy Pace, President and CEO, Allegacy Federal Credit Union. “For more than 51 years, our employees have been our foundation leading the way as we fulfill our promise to always do the right thing for the wellbeing for employees and the community. We have a strong sense of community and shared purpose at Allegacy and continue to foster a workplace built on collaboration, development and mutual respect.”
