Alpena Alcona Area Credit Union donating $1 for Every Facebook “Like”
ALPENA, MI (June 27, 2013) — Alpena Alcona Area Credit Union (AAACU) will be launching a Facebook campaign on Monday benefitting Friends Together, a non-profit organizaiton, located in Alpena, Michigan.
The Alpena based credit union will donate $1 for every new Facebook “LIKE” on the credit union’s Facebook page, up to $600, between July 1st and August 31st.
The donation will be used for the Friends Together Summer Gas Card Challenge. The program helps those dealing with cancer get to their much needed appointments for treatment.
“Friends Together of Alpena gives Northeastern Michigan residents the opportunity to help their own family, friends and neighbors who have been touched by cancer. Every dollar helps.” said Melissa Burns, Communications Specialist for Friends Together of Alpena.
