Altura Credit Union Staffers Bring Their Kids to Work

Part of ‘Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day’

RIVERSIDE, CA (May 28, 2013) About 60 children and their parents, who all work at Altura Credit Union’s Operations and Technology Center, participated in “Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day” recently.

The “Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work” program was designed to educate girls and boys about the wealth of job possibilities for their future, teach them about the realities of work, and give them a glimpse into what their parents do at their jobs.

Following a welcome rally, the children spent a couple of hours “shadowing” their parent.  The day’s activities also included lunch from Hot Dog on a Stick, a scavenger hunt, learning activities, an ice cream social, and movie and popcorn.
