American 1 CU Raises over $350 for S.A.F.E. Place

JACKSON, MI (July 3, 2013) American 1 Credit Union is dedicated to the communities they serve and feel strongly about giving back.  American 1 Credit Union raises money each month for different local charities.  During the month of June funds were raised for the S.A.F.E. Place of Battle Creek. S.A.F.E. Place serves as a place for families who have been a victim of domestic violence, providing them with a place for shelter, advocates, and counseling.

American 1’s Home Office and North Street branches in Jackson offered fresh popped popcorn and bottled water for a donation for members, every Friday. The last Friday of the month, we also made caramel corn, which was a huge success and the members continue to ask for it each week.
