American Heritage Credit Union & Emancipet invites community pets to inaugural Spring Fling Doggie Dash
PHILADELPHIA, PA (April 12, 2018) — American Heritage Credit Union is hosting its inaugural Spring Fling Doggie Dash on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 10 A.M. American Heritage is inviting members of the public to participate in this walk and fun run, which will be held on American Heritage’s Main Campus located at 2068 Red Lion Road, Philadelphia, PA 19115. All dogs, of any size or skill level, and their owners, are welcome to participate. Registration begins at 9 A.M. and the walk/fun run begins at 10 A.M. A rain date is scheduled for Sunday, April 15 in the event of inclement weather.
There are two registration options: the basic registration is $15 per dog, which allows your family and dog to participate in the walk/fun run. The “Top Dog” registration, for $50 per dog, includes basic registration, plus a goodie bag for your furry friend and a t-shirt. Please note that we limit two dogs per family for both registration types. There will be a Best Doggie Costume contest judged by special guest Lucy Noland, FOX29 News’ Evening Co-Anchor. It will also feature games, vendors to shop from, music, food and fun for your entire family.
The funds raised at the event will be donated to Emancipet. Emancipet offers spay/neuter and preventive services to keep pets healthy. The organization has relationships with several local pet-friendly organizations and are supported by Petsmart Charities. American Heritage partnered with Emancipet in 2017 to provide credit union membership to their employees and saw this as a perfect opportunity to strengthen one of American Heritage’s community outreach goals to host their first Dog Walk fundraiser for a local organization.
