Neighbors Federal Credit Union is excited to announce that applications for the annual Neighbors Way Tuition Assistance Awards are now open! Established in 2018, the Neighbors Way Tuition Assistance Award was developed in an effort to help edit the cost of tuition for students entering their first year of college. Each year 16 students at participating Mascot Schools* are awarded one-time scholarships ranging from $1,000-$7,500 and one student is awarded a 4-year, $20,000 scholarship.
Eligibility Requirements:
To qualify, students must:
- Graduate in 2025 from a Mascot School*
- Maintain a 2.5 GPA
- Demonstrate an active involvement in the community
- Provide a written recommendation from the student’s high school counselor

- Acadiana High School
- Baker High School
- Baton Rouge Magnet High School
- Broadmoor High School
- Central High School
- Denham Springs High School
- The Dunham School
- Liberty Magnet High School
- Live Oak High School
- McKinley High School
- Port Allen High School
- Scotlandville Magnet High School
- Southern University Lab
- St. Helena CCA
- Walker High School
- Woodlawn High School
All eligible high school seniors are invited to apply. Applications are open as of Monday, January 13th and close on Friday, February 7th. Applications will be reviewed and those selected will be notified about next steps.
