Ardent Credit Union appoints Farah Jimenez, President & CEO of the Philadelphia Education Fund, to Board Of Directors

Today, Philadelphia-based Ardent Credit Union (ACU) announced the appointment of local community leader Farah Jimenez to the Ardent Credit Union Board of Directors. The Board is proud to welcome Ms. Jimenez who currently serves as the President & CEO of the Philadelphia Education Fund.

Ms. Jimenez’s nonprofit career spans nearly 20 years in executive management roles, focusing on community revitalization, public housing, affordable housing development and social services. In her current role with the Philadelphia Education Fund, Ms. Jimenez works to ensure that every young person in Philadelphia has access to a high-quality education that prepares them for college and a successful career.

“My entire career I’ve chosen to invest my time in mission based work. That remains true here,” said Farah Jimenez. “It’s my honor to join Ardent, an institution deeply committed to serving its community, while it undertakes an exciting period of growth and innovation.”

In addition to her work with the Philadelphia Education Fund, Ms. Jimenez served on the School Reform Commission from 2014 - 2018, which has been the governing body of The School District of Philadelphia. She also served as a gubernatorial appointee for the Pennsylvania Commission for Women and the Pennsylvania Homeless Education Task Force, and on the board of the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey. Ms. Jimenez is a graduate of both the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
